Non-Government Projects
Alongside government schemes, Pratham Samiti has also successfully implemented several non-government projects to directly benefit the community. In 2025, the committee organized 7-day special workshops in local primary schools, introducing children to science experiments, cleanliness, environmental protection, and creative art & craft. These workshops nurtured curiosity and practical knowledge among the children. Additionally, Pratham Samiti collaborated with other reputed NGOs to conduct joint programs focusing on women’s skill development, de-addiction, digital education, and agricultural training, benefiting hundreds of people in slum and rural areas.
Women’s Empowerment and Agriculture Initiatives :
Special training sessions were held for women in stitching, embroidery, handicrafts, and micro-entrepreneurship, helping them become self-reliant. Workshops for farmers and youth focused on organic composting, modern irrigation techniques, and sustainable farming practices, which helped increase local income and promote eco-friendly agriculture.
Future Plans....
Pratham Samiti plans to collaborate with other NGOs to hold monthly joint workshops, establish a Women’s Entrepreneurship Center, and launch a Mobile Science Lab. Future initiatives also include setting up model organic farming plots for rural farmers and a Green School Program for urban children. Pratham Samiti believes that such collaborative and innovative non-government projects will empower society in education, women’s development, and sustainable agriculture.
