President Says...

We Help People In Need Around Us...

The prime objective is to help people, and actual help is to give them education to understand the actuality of life under which they can survive in better way.Afforting people always to get in flow in positive aspect not to stay to become the part of dirt. So you can say we motivate people on the track of education.

When I started Pratham Samiti, my goal was clear — to work at the grassroots, where help is needed the most, and not just stay limited to ideas and meetings. As a woman closely connected to the realities of underserved communities, I’ve seen how lack of access to education, skills, and awareness can keep people stuck in cycles of inequality. In urban slums, children grow up without quality learning, girls lack self-confidence, youth are often without direction, and families are disconnected from their rights and responsibilities. Pratham Samiti was created to break this cycle — not through charity, but through empowerment.

  • We educate children who have never been to school.
  • We equip girls and women with practical skills to become financially independent.
  • We train youth in digital literacy, life skills, and creativity.
  • And we engage the entire community in science education, health awareness, and environmental action.

One of our key focus areas has been environmental awareness and plantation. Through consistent efforts like the Harela Festival campaigns, school-based tree drives, and community awareness events, we’ve been actively promoting a sense of responsibility toward nature — especially among children. We believe that nurturing the environment is just as important as educating people, because both are deeply connected. Our plantation drives are not symbolic; they are community-led, school-linked, and youth-driven. We teach children not only to plant trees but also to care for them — to grow up with them as partners in the future. This journey didn’t start with many hands or resources — it started with a decision to act. And along the way, more hands joined — teachers, volunteers, students, mothers, youth — and now a growing community. At Pratham Samiti, we measure impact in moments:

  • A child picking up a pencil for the first time.
  • A woman taking her first step toward self-reliance.
  • A student planting a tree and calling it “hers.”
  • A young boy proudly explaining how waste can be turned into something useful.

These are our real success stories. As President, I carry one belief: We don’t wait for perfect conditions to create change. We begin with what we have — and where we are. We don’t believe in one-day charity. We believe in long-term transformation. We don’t believe in sympathy. We believe in dignity and opportunity. I thank everyone who walks this journey with me — our team, our partners, our volunteers, our well-wishers, and especially those communities who trust us. Let’s continue building a society that is educated, skilled, and green — because real progress includes people and the planet. –
